Using the iVES training program, we'll teach you all you need to know to become a safe, confident, competent forklift operator and remain compliant with the CSA B335-15 safety standard for lift trucks.
The iVES training program is an 8-12 hour course (depending on participant experience level) and consists of 2 parts.
Part 1: Classroom - Equipment Theory
- the rules & regulations
- types of forklifts
- main parts & control systems
- specifications
- capacity & load charts
- stability issues & stability pyramid
- job preparation
- safe operation
- post operation
- final written theory exam (70% + to pass)
Part 2:
- practical hands on training - inspections - pretrip & worksite
- practical hands on training - skills assessment & road test
Upon successful completion of the course students will receive an 8x11 wall mountable certificate as well as a wallet card. Forklift Certification is valid for 3 years and accepted across Canada
